About the Producer
Domaine de la Furonnière is a generations-old family winery in the heart of Loire, located just east of the city of Nantes. Dedicated to bringing out the best of the Muscadet AOC land, the Furonnière winemaking team uses techniques passed down from grandfather to father to son.
Spending ample time on each bottling and ageing the wine sur lie, the Furonnière domaine, led by vigneron Florian Bonneau, expresses the land and the fruit in the bottle. The estate is situated in the village of Landreau, South-East of Nantes, about 15 km from the Loire river. Being so close to the ocean, the vineyard has a microclimate and the influence from the sea makes actually the Muscadet region cooler than the rest of the Loire Valley.
