Chateau Mille Roses Margaux 2020

91 Points - Bettane et Desseauve. A small Margaux estate with a loyal following, Château Mille Roses continues to impress. The 2020 is a finely tuned blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon, offering blackcurrant, violet and cedar on the nose, with a supple, medium-bodied palate and silky tannins. Classic Margaux charm with a modern edge.

Vivino Rating: 4.2 (Aug 2025)

Blend: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot

Taste

Bright and expressive, the Mille Roses Margaux opens with aromas of blackcurrant, wild berries, and a hint of violet. The palate is medium-bodied and finely structured, with silky tannins and well-judged oak supporting the ripe, juicy fruit. There’s freshness, lift, and a subtle graphite note on the long, elegant finish. A polished and poised Margaux with real drinking appeal.

Wine Press Ratings

91 Points - Bettane et Desseauve (2020 Vintage)

"Margaux finesse with, at this stage, a slight firmness in the tannin that will soften with three to five years of ageing. Delicate aromas, classic for the appellation and its terroirs."

About the Producer

Brought back to life in 1999 when Sophie & David Faure completely renovated the estate, Château Mille Roses is located in the Southern Médoc, between the famous Grand Crus Classés of Château Cantemerle and Giscours. Since 2010, they adopted organic production for their entire estate, no longer using any chemical; pesticides or herbicides, believing a rich and well balanced wine with a personal identity comes first and foremost from its terroir.
