Chateau Lamothe-Bergeron Nove Haut-Medoc 2016
93/94 Points - James Suckling. From one of the Haut-Médoc’s standout estates, this 2016 release of Lamothe-Bergeron’s “Nove” shows just how good modern Bordeaux can be. Ripe blackcurrant and plum flavours are wrapped in smooth tannins, with a touch of cedar and graphite for that unmistakable Left Bank character. It’s refined but generous, drinking beautifully now and still full of life for a few more years in the cellar. A great example of why 2016 is such a beloved vintage.
