Tapanappa Foggy Hill Pinot Noir 2022
92 Points - WinePilot. The Tapanappa Foggy Hill Pinot Noir is a prime example of what cool-climate Australian Pinot can do. From the breezy slopes of the Fleurieu Peninsula, it’s elegant, layered, and quietly powerful. There’s a real sense of place here — the vineyard sits at 350m and the maritime influence keeps everything fresh and precise. Drink it now if you’re impatient, or tuck a few bottles away and watch it gain even more depth.
Vivino Rating: 4.0 (Sept 2025)
Taste
Bright, medium-weight red, with aromas of cherry, raspberry, and a hint of rose petal, underpinned by subtle spice and a touch of forest floor. On the palate, the fruit is sweet and vibrant, framed by silky, refined tannins and a streak of mineral tension that keeps it lively. Long, poised, and with real personality — this is Pinot Noir that’s as charming as it is serious, offering immediate enjoyment but built for at least a decade in the cellar.

92 Points - WinePilot (2022 Vintage)
"Lovely generous aromas of berry compote, damp earth, truffle and spice are seamless intertwined with quality French oak. It then takes a more savoury turn with touches of wood smoke, freshly turned earth with spicy, stalky tones building towards a meaty finish with firm drying tannins. A very serious Pinot expression that needs time to come out of its shell but will deliver in spades."
