Roebuck Estates Rose de Noirs 2019

95 Points / Gold Medal - IWC. A bold, refined expression of the Roebuck Estates house style, the 2019 Rosé de Noirs, crafted predominantly from Pinot Noir and hand-harvested from the best fruit. Vintage-led and patiently matured for 48 months on lees, it combines depth, freshness and elegance, capturing the essence of the house’s vinous, gastronomic approach to English sparkling rosé.

Taste

An elegant sparkling rosé displaying delightful notes of wild strawberries and ripe red berries, layered with a hint of toasted walnuts and biscuity richness. Delicate bubbles on the palate and vibrant acidity lead to a long, beautifully balanced finish.

Wine Press Reviews / Awards

95 Points / Gold Medal - International Wine Challenge ( 2019 Vintage)

"Elegant in style with refined red fruit a very pure poised style with a crisp citrus twist. Stylish and accessible but generous too."

"A producer that stands out from the crowd.” - Jancis Robinson

Vintage Info

The 2019 growing season started well with budburst taking place in early April, thankfully avoiding the spring frosts. Moderately warm weather at the end of June resulted in a successful flowering and even fruit set throughout. Good weather in August encouraged consistent fruit development and cooler temperatures in September and October produced an
abundance of wonderfully complex fruit balanced by beautiful acids.

Blend

94% Pinot Noir, 4% Pinot Meunier, 2% Pinot Précoce
