Niepoort Redoma Tinto 2021
Niepoort’s Redoma Tinto is an outstanding example of the Douro’s new style of red wines.  While produced from a blend of traditional Port varieties - Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz – this is a thoroughly modern wine.  Intervention in the winery is kept to a minimum and while it does receive oak ageing, this is in old Port casks.  The aim is to allow the character of the vineyards and their organic fruit to shine through.  Full of concentrated black fruits, its freshness stops it from being heavy.

Taste
Very deeply coloured with an inky blue-black hue, aromas of black berries, cherries, herbs, crushed rocks and balsamic vinegar surge from the glass. Mouthfillng with masses of juicy black fruits, herbs, bitter chocolate, and a cleansing red berry freshness, its structure means it will age well.
