"From the families of John Neylon and Ian Wiffin comes a lush, intense Sauvignon Blanc with a pale yellow color with very ripe aromas and flavors of peach, lychee, and grapefruit zest, with notes of dried basil and mint. It is round and lush in the mouth, vitalized by tangy acidity. "
"If this is not Marlborough’s most consistently top Sauvignon
Blanc, it is certainly the best value.” Bob Campbell, MW

Winemakers tasting note: "Influenced by Marlborough’s memorable style, we’ve crafted an exuberant Reserve Sauvignon Blanc from Dillons Point – the region’s most expressive sub-region. Grown in alluvial soils with coastal influences, this wine shows distinctive salty minerality, ripe tropical and stone fruit flavours, and impressive palate weight. Wrapped up with a mouth-watering finish, this is our very own signature style."
About the Producer
Rapaura Springs is located in Marlborough and is owned by two families, the Neylons and the Wiffins. The business was initially established for use as a fruit and vine nursery, but as the potential for making exceptional wines became clear, they shifted their emphasis to winemaking. Since 1985 wines have been their focus and they are now counted amongst New Zealand wine’s finest. Long-term advocates of sustainable winemaking, they have gone to great lengths to ensure they work with nature. This includes reusing grape waste as fertiliser, growing ground cover between vines that are trimmed by sheep, and investing in a multi-million-dollar water purification process that sees them use around 40% less water than the national average.
