Taste

Yellow gold with a gorgeous bouquet of peaches, red apples, crushed nuts and citrus, it impresses from the off. The palate is just as compelling. Medium-bodied, rich, and loaded with apples, peaches, melon, and citrus fruits, there are lovely balancing tones of crushed hazelnuts, wood smoke and chalky minerals. Delicious now with poultry, fish, shellfish or mushroom dishes, it will age gracefully over the next five years.

About the Producer

Vincent Punier founded his domaine in 1988 when he inherited 2 hectares of vineyards from his parents. It now comprises of 13 hectares of vines in prestigious sites in Auxey-Duresses, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin. Despite his domain’s growth it remains very much his own and his control over his wine extends to him living above his winery in Auxey Duresses in sight of his Pinot Noir vines. His love for his wines is easy to see and thanks to his close attention to detail, he has attracted a loyal following.
