Wine Press Ratings
91 Points - Patricio Tapia - Descorchados (2022 Vintage)
"A very good value for money in this malbec from vineyards in the warm Cruz de Piedra zone in Maipú. It's a malbec full of flavors and aromas of black, ripe and slightly sweet cherries. The palate has juicy acidity and tannins—as dictated by the house style—very soft and round. An ideal malbec to discover the variety and how friendly it can be."

About the Producer
The vineyards lie at the foot of the Andes Mountains, barely a thousand meters away from the Mendoza River. The vines receive fresh breezes descending from the mountains and blowing along the river, all of which contributes to the generation of wide temperature ranges. The soil is predominantly alluvial, with a clay-loam surface, and rock is found at a depth of 60 cm (23.4 in). And so it is that Finca La Mascota finds itself set in perfect surroundings, and one the most renowned and prestigious wine-growing regions in Mendoza.
