Producer
IDDA is a joint project between the renowned Gaja family of Piedmont and Sicilian winemaker Alberto Graci. The name "Idda" means "she" in Sicilian, referring to the imposing presence of Mount Etna. The vineyards are uniquely situated on Etna’s southern slopes at elevations up to 800 metres, benefiting from volcanic soils that impart a special minerality and energy to the wines. This collaboration stands out for its focus on terroir expression, meticulous site selection, and innovative partnership between two highly respected winemaking families.
