Ernesto del Palacio Tinto Roble Toro 2021

Ernesto del Palacio has been making wine for over 300 years in the region of Toro, most famously known for its powerful reds made from Tinta de Toro, a variant of the internationally known Tempranillo. This Tinto Roble is born after a careful selection of grapes from vineyards over 50 years old with low yields. With an intense cherry colour and beautiful purple reflections, it will surprise you with its sweet notes thanks to the maturity of carefully selected clusters.

Taste

It has an intense cherry colour with beautiful purple reflections. On the nose, aromas of forest fruits, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries appear, accompanied by spicy notes and liquorice nuances, characteristic of this grape variety. On the palate, we find fruity sensations. A young red wine with body yet simultaneously sweet thanks to the maturity of the grape from which it comes.

About the Producer

The project of Ernesto del Palacio Winery begins with the aspiration of a farming family to produce quality wines from grapes grown in their own vineyards, nurtured with utmost care, perseverance, and the expertise passed down through generations for over 300 years. Ernesto del Palacio (Tito) grows up amidst ancient vineyards and cellars where his ancestors crafted red and verdejo wines from San Román de Hornija, sourced from their own vineyards.
