Wine Press Ratings

90 Points - James Suckling (2021 Vintage)

"Lightly chewy, showing some dried sweet spices to the red plums, hazelnuts, chocolate and berries. Juicy and firm with tight, structured tannins, medium body and a medium-length finish. Not resolved yet. Better in one more year."

Taste

Intense ruby-red colour with violet hues. On the nose, red-berry aromas combined with the aromas it has developed through traditional ageing in our cellar. Red-berry fruit, liquorice, blackcurrants and spices. On the palate it is full-bodied and silky smooth, with a varietal flavour and a long, lingering aftertaste of fresh fruit.

The Solarce Tinto is a blend of Tempranillo, Grenache and Mazuelo, Graciano and other varieties. The wine is aged for 8 months in American and French oak barrels.
