This is Tenute Ca 'Botta's signature wine, one that is a must-try for lovers of powerful reds.

Wine Press Ratings

94 Points - James Suckling (2018 Vintage)

"This red shows a really complex and intriguing nose of rhubarb, incense, balsamic, wet earth and prunes. Earthy and chocolaty on the palate, with a dense, full body, condensed velvety tannins and almost zesty acidity. It’s a powerful wine that’s drinkable due to its integration."

Taste

Wonderfully deeply coloured, it’s red-black at its core, fading to deep crimson at the rim. The complex bouquet offers stewed black fruits, bitter chocolate, wild herbs and vanilla. In the mouth, it’s luxurious and warming, a heady yet harmonious mix of prunes, black cherries, honey, and thyme before raspberries and almonds fill the finish.

Blend

Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Corvinone
