Bonvalet Horae 1er Cru 2014 (6 Bottle Case)

91 Points - Decanter. Champagne Bonvalet began with a wild dream: to create a Maison de Champagne from scratch. In 2012, Guillaume created his first cuvée, which took two more years of patience to distribute the first 2000 bottles of Champagne Bonvalet. 2014 – A very distinctive year, that of the very first production of House Bonvalet. The Premier Cru Horae represents patience and serendipity, both needed to lead beautiful projects and produce great wines. The rich power of Pinot Noir and the delicacy of Chardonnay are here perfectly balanced by the passing of time.

6 * Bonvalet Horae 1er Cru 2014

About the Producer

Champagne Bonvalet began with a wild dream: to create a Maison de Champagne from scratch. In 2012, Guillaume created his first cuvée which took two more years of patience to distribute the first 2000 bottles of Champagne Bonvalet Brut Suprême. Over the years, Champagne Bonvalet has grown, volumes have increased, and new cuvées have come to light. In 2017, his wife Pauline left her native country, Belgium, and joined the adventure. Today, with their team, they are working to develop the range and image of the house, aiming to combine the best quality with the unique soil expression of their wines.

At Maison Bonvalet, the wines are produced with the utmost care. Meticulous attention is paid to the quality of the grapes, the vinification process, the amount of sulphites, the maturing time in cellars and the dosage of their wines. This to obtain their signature taste, true to its terroir.

Controlled and sustainable production

Wines are made with grapes grown in vineyards certified both HVE (High Environmental Value) and VDC (Sustainable Wine growing in Champagne). These are methods of sustainable development which protect the biodiversity and the local ecosystem, limit the carbon footprint and control the impact on water resources.
