Casa La Rad Rioja Garnacha Special Edition

From old Garnacha vines in Rioja, this Special Edition is vivid and precise. Wild strawberry, red cherry and dried herbs lead, with subtle spice and a savoury edge. Juicy, fresh and finely structured, it finishes long and stony, showing real energy and place, with gentle grip and impressive drinkability now.

Chateau Lys de Maisonneuve Montagne Saint-Emilion

Gold Medal - Concours International de Lyon. It is no wonder that this is the former domaine of the Lacoste family who owned Petrus. A blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, Château Lys de Maisonneuve begins with aromas of red fruits and exotic spices are joined together with tobacco and herbs. Full-bodied with notable fruit tannin structure and a core of bright black cherries that lead up to the long juicy finish. Appealing now, and should continue to develop in bottle over many years.

Cagliero Canebbio Langhe Nebbiolo DOC

Barolo's little brother, Langhe Nebbiolo, is a younger and more approachable wine that doesn't require years of aging to soften the tannins, unlike some Barolos. While still retaining all the charming characteristics of Nebbiolo, the addition of 10% Barbera into the blend gives it a softer side. Expect beautifully perfumed red fruits and a smooth, balanced, and long finish.

Sylvain Mosnier Petit Chablis

Balanced aromas of citrus and wet stones are followed by a fruity, tangy palate, with a subtle tang of salinity and apple skin freshness towards the finish. Perfect on its own or to enjoy with white fish or meats.

Chateau de Gourdon Fontaine du Sud Cotes du Rhone Blanc

Produced from a mix of sustainably grown Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne, and Viognier vines, this is classic Cotes du Rhone Blanc. As with so many of Chateau de Gourdon’s wines, the Fontaine du Sud is fruit-driven and allows the natural brilliance of the vineyard and vine to shine through. Following a gentle pressing the wines are fermented at low temperatures (typically around 13.5 °C) and then allowed to rest on their lees over the winter. The resulting wine is fresh, complex, and wonderfully aromatic.

Tenute Ca 'Botta Le Pergolette Garganega Bianco Veronese IGT

The Le Pergolette is made exclusively from the local speciality, Garganega. Tenute Ca ’Botta go to great lengths to extract as much flavour as they can so give the grapes an extra-long maceration and a long, slow fermentation. The result is a wine that has all of Garganega’s freshness and vitality but with greater body, richness and intensity. This is a fine example of what this excellent variety can do in the right hands.
