Cuvaison Estate Grown Pinot Noir 2022
Vivino Rating: 4.2 (Apr 2025)
Wine Press Ratings
94 Points - Wine Review Online (2022 Vintage)
"Wow – a plush texture belies the sturdy structure and lower alcohol content in this gorgeous wine, composed of a Chambertin (Burgundy) clone. Black cherry, blackberry, fall spice, soft dried herbs and a fair amount of oak char are still folding together, but this will turn into a soulful beauty with a few years in your cellar."
Winemakers Tasting Notes
A wild berry character defined by succulent notes of blackberry and black tea that roll into layers of hawthorn, plum and wild strawberry. The marriage of both black and red fruits embodies the classic Los Carneros Pinot Noir, bursting with the heightened aromatics and excellent freshness that define our Cuvaison estate vineyard. The flavors are bold and expansive on the palate, while a vibrant acidity heightens the long and harmonious finish.
